Runescape 3 Is Here

Look at that trailer. That's the bold future of the world's most popular free-to-play MMO. A future I look forward to experiencing should this black screen issue ever get resolved.

The third major update (counting Runescape HD) to Jagex's original free-to-play sensation has launched as promised, but I am not seeing any of these fancy new browser-based graphics. I am seeing this:

I see it for about 10 minutes, and then I am logged out. Checking the game's forums for solutions, I found quite a lot of folks are having the same issues. Those that manage to actually get into the game are seeing disconnects, or are just generally disappointed with the user interface. Looks fine to me. Nice and streamlined, without all of those nasty graphics getting in the way.

Jagex is aware of the issues, and is looking to make their game work. Here's the post in that same thread from mod Raven:

We do know about the issues and we are doing everything we can to resolve them.Unfortunately, no amount of testing can match up to thousands of players attempting the content at once.We are looking into the issues and working on them as fast as we can. Please be patient. If you are currently unable to log into the game, I recommend waiting until a little later when the initial rush has subsided. The world event will be around for a while, don't worry. For those of you who would like the old interface back, please take a look at the available presets as we have a preset that duplicates the functionality of the old interface.Again sorry for the inconvenience.

[Tips & Guide 101] The Rich Wiseman’s Wisdom 101; GW2 Gold via Trading Post

On the world of MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game), you cannot survive the outside world if you don’t have enough money. Of course that includes the world inside the Guild Wars 2. Players tends to hunt for items, especially the strong ones and sell them to earn GW2 gold. But some new players don’t know how to effectively sell their items to earn their GW2 gold.

Earn GW2 gold effectively on the Trading Post:
Using and selling your items on the Trading Post is relatively easy. Before selling on the Trading Post you need at least enough GW 2 gold to cover up the 5% listing fee. In order to sell your items, you need to list the items you want to sell on the Trading Post by selecting “Sell on Trading Post”.

Three things to consider when using the Trading Post:
Highest Buyer. This option can be use to allow the player to directly sell their items to the buyer, this can guarantee an instant GW2 gold.

Lowest Seller. This allows the player to match the price of the item of the lowest point the item is currently selling by the different sellers. The item you want to sell will be placed on the queue and have to wait for the current sellers stock to be sold out.

Manual Price. The players have the ability to manually place the items price whatever they want to put.
